I remembered that I digitized all the old family photos, so I added a couple of photos to the Roots post. Of course, in typical fashion, I had to go about it in a round-about way. I had scanned all the photos and got DVDs made at Costco, and sent DVDs to all of us kids. Yesterday, when I remembered I had the photos, I looked for my DVD. It was nowhere to be found. Drove me nuts – in my house, everything has its place, and it’s rare that I can’t find something. So there’s only two places it could have been, and it was in neither. The uploaded files on Costco couldn’t be saved as jpgs, so I had to call my sister to pull out her DVD and email me some pics.

Darn cat: Nicholas must be hiding things from me during the day. (Update: I remembered that Mom wanted a copy of the DVD, even though she can’t operate her DVD player, so I gave her my copy. I’ve since apologized to Nicky.)

Here’s a pic of Mom in her 20s or 30s.
